Experience
Tenure Track Professor of Mathematics (College Algebra to Calculus II) I developed the curriculum for what was considered advanced mathematics for a liberal arts college in Chicago (Columbia College Chicago). There are no math majors in the college, so students are not required to take mathematics beyond College Algebra. I was tasked with creating Calculus series and attract students to take it as an elective! When I started there were only one course in Calculus I that only had 5 students, and offered only in Spring Semester. When I was done there were three courses in Calculus with 15-20 students each. Some students took my math courses 4 semester in a row from College Algebra to Calculus II. I oversaw all the part time professors teaching the Advanced Mathematics Curriculum. Evaluation, Hiring and Firing of them. I understand great teaching and standards. You can read my ratemyprofessor.com reviews (which are not definitive). But I have tons of teaching evaluations from students in paper form which are more comprehensive. I am vetted thoroughly. I moved back to orange county for a year to take care of my aging parents, 87 years old. I am looking for a PART-TIME job to enjoy time with them. Thank you.
