Experience
Teaching others has always been a passion and hobby of mine. I enjoy the one-on-one interactions with my students, where I can get to know them on a personal level and their academic potential. My favorite aspects of tutoring are the moments when my students begin to comprehend the material, and become encouraged to tackle more difficult problems. Thus, I try my best to reach this point with all my students. I graduated from the University of California, San Diego with a BS in Biology, where I excelled in my chemistry, physics, biology and math courses. It is also there that I gained 2 years of experience privately tutoring high school and college students in the math and science disciplines. In addition to my Bachelor Degree, I have also performed well in my high school AP math and science courses. Currently, tutoring continues to be a hobby until I start medical school in the Fall of 2015. As a tutor, I am patient and attentive to my students. I believe there are many learning styles, and I do my best to develop the style that is best suited for each student. Furthermore, previous students and parents have commended my both of my abilities to create a comfortable learning environment, and to explain the material in multiple ways.

I enjoy playing indoor and beach volleyball and am always looking for new places to play. My career goal is to become a medical doctor. If any pre-medical students need advice, I am always willing to help and share my experience.
