Through my abundance of babysitting experience, I have also helped tutor kids. I want to be a tutor because I love writing. I want to show students that essays don't have to be chore and how to be creative while still remaining in the guidelines of the prompt. In high school I was Co-Editor in Chief in my journalism class (two years experience). I've taken honors english almost my whole high school career as well as pursuing freelance writing outside my academic career.

Hobbies

I have always been interested in writing. For a long time I struggled between choosing to follow a career in physiology and journalism. All of the writing I've done (outside of school) I've done basically for free. My mother is also a freelance writer so on occasion when she's overwhelmed with her work load, she'll have me write an article for her. I've also written for the Huffington Post a few times. As well as writing, I also have a passion for music.
