I am a tutor with a strong background in math and science. I graduated from the University of California, Irvine with a bachelor's degree in biological science. I began tutoring when I was in high school. I have experience working with students from the elementary school level all the way through the collegiate level. I am comfortable tutoring students in a wide range of math related subject areas, including algebra 1-4, geometry, pre-calculus, trigonometry, and arithmetic. I can also tutor students in many different science-related subject areas, including anatomy, biology, chemistry, physical chemistry, physics, and physiology. Additionally, I am able to tutor students in the subjects of social sciences and psychology. I am also available to help students prepare for standardized tests, such as the SAT. I am particularly adept at helping students prepare for the math sections of the SAT. My philosophy as a tutor emphasizes ensuring that my students are engaged. Creating a fun environment helps motivate students to learn. Watching a student improve both as a person and academically is very rewarding for me. In my free time, I like to go to the gym, practice Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, play soccer, and play basketball with my friends. I currently live in Los Angeles, California.
