Normally, I toil away in the labs, handling infinitely small, microscopic organisms while speculating theories that may or may not come to fruition any time soon. But in the classroom, it is incredible watching growth happen right in front of me and, at the same time, unbelievable knowing that I am the source of such development. This sparked the realization that I love working with people in this way, as a mentoring figure which I hope to pursue even more in the future. As a tutor, I will be able to work one-on-one in several subjects and gain invaluable experience while also bettering my teaching abilities.
